Prices include end-of-stay cleaning (Please see clause 7 of the Booking Conditions), bed linen and bathroom towels per week (not pool towels or cot bedding), electricity, logs, water and a Welcome Pack consisting of bread, eggs, fresh milk, butter and wine. BOOKING CONDITIONS AND PROCEDURES
1. To book La Ruche, please download, complete and sign the booking form at the top of this page. This form, plus your deposit cheque for one third of the total rental fee will ensure that the house is booked in your name for the period you require. You will receive confirmation of this booking, plus an invoice for the balance and the security deposit. Please note: Saturday to Saturday bookings only during the period May-September.
2. The balance of the rental, plus a security deposit of £100 per week against loss or damage to the property and its contents are payable no less than 10 weeks before the start of the rental period. This due date will appear on your invoice. We will confirm receipt of your payment and send you details for your arrival at the house.
3. Bookings made within 10 weeks of the start of the rental period must be settled in full with the security deposit at the time of booking.
4. Failure to ensure that the balance of the rental plus the security deposit reach us on or before the due date may jeopardize your booking.
5. If you need to cancel your booking, we will refund sums already paid by you if we are able to re-let the house for the period you have booked. We strongly advise you to take out a cancellation insurance.
6. The security deposit of £100 per week will be returned to you following your stay, when our House Manager informs us that the house and its contents are complete and in order. Any damage or additional cleaning costs will be deducted from your deposit.
7. You are asked to take good care of the house and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition. The rent includes a charge for end-of-stay cleaning to prepare for the next tenants.
8. Rental commences at 4p.m. on the day of arrival and finishes at 10.00a.m. on the day of departure. We shall ask you to give us an idea of your anticipated time of arrival in Cotignac when you send your final remittance.
9. Our fees include 1 set of bed linen and towels per week: this set excludes cot linen and towels for swimming. We also provide pool maintenance, electricity, central heating, logs, water, use of the 2 cots and the services of our agents. A Welcome Pack of bread, eggs, milk, butter and wine will be in the house when you arrive, at no extra charge. If you require extra linen, please ask our house manager to provide this for you on your arrival and pay her direct. (12€ per set)
10. The house accommodates 6 guests in 3 bedrooms, but if you wish to invite a maximum of 2 extra temporary guests, you may do so.
11. We regret that we cannot accept pets under any circumstances.
12. The telephone is available for incoming and outgoing calls and Internet WI-FI connection. We have web access to consumption on this line and the cost of your outgoing calls will be deducted from your deposit.
Your signature on the booking form indicates that you accept responsibility for the safety of all members of your group, including temporary visitors, during your stay at La Ruche.
